Why Groofer?

We created Groofer to help organizations and teams to collaborate on searching, sharing, discussing and managing relevant information from across the web, in one secure platform.

The name Groofer, comes from combining the words Group and Infer; recognizing the power of the work group to filter and contextualize information as needed, creating its own knowledge web.

Groofer’s team members work from Washington DC, Silicon Valley and from Bangalore, India. We all have the same passion – to create easy to use software solutions for business users and teams. Our ideas typically grow out of our frustrations of not being able to do something well – because the tools simply don’t exist today. Collaborative web searching and feed reading was one such area.
